You can create a rug with two cords:
You can glue the cord back and forth in rows, instead of around and around in a circle or oval. I glued the ends of this rug to the underside.
Two cords can be glued into rows together:
As long as you allow sufficient time for the glue to set, (so the cord doesn’t unravel when you cut it), you can make rugs with fringed ends by gluing the cord into rows.
Three coordinating colors are used here to create a set of dollhouse items.
When Prairie Bee’s latest cabin is finished, I will use this set for a rug in front of the fireplace, a ‘runner’ to go on top of the mantle, and a little mat to go under a vase on a nearby shelf or end table.
